Trying to run Teams for Home on a personal machine not using a work or school account, a friend is getting this message: "This version of Teams only supports work or school accounts managed by an organization. However, I am currently running Teams for personal use on my Windows 10 system.

I'm sorry, but you can't do it. Hmm, so no background settings, or ANY camera settings then, what-so-ever? This is a "weird middle ground", or perhaps a donut-hole of sorts, where people at home, say doing intake interviews or similar, cannot really use full functionality Teams? The other options aren't, correct? You can only purchase a full-fledged business account, if you want to use the app or use other services, that are apparently more "general home user friendly"?
Even as an O Premium member, there are no options I did poke around the Teams site, trying to find this info? I experienced the same issue very recently and I had previously had no problem using my desktop version of Teams.
I see that there now is a home or personal version you can download to avoid the annoying prompt and circular loop that brings you back to the cloud based app. However, for some reason, unlike the business version, this personal desktop version seems to keep the virtual backgrounds in the cloud, and there is no backgrounds folder on my hard drive.
I had a customized background that I saved there and would use as my background. If anyone knows how to use a personalized virtual background with the home desktop version of Teams, that would be appreciated.
